National Sporting Championships
The NZCT AIMS GAMES is a strategic partnership between Sport Bay of Plenty, the four Western Bay Intermediate Schools and the Tauranga City Council. All individual and team sports are superbly organised and ran to a very high standard and we link with various sporting clubs and Regional Sporting Organisations to achieve this.
The sporting championships gives Year 7 and 8 students an opportunity to compete as an individual or in a team against the best of their age in New Zealand in a variety of different sports. Each of the sports offered are hosted in superb facilities where the best in the country for their age have the opportunity to perform at their best.

To assist you with your planning and bookings for the 2011 NZCT AIMS GAMES we have set the date – Sunday 28th August to Friday 2nd September 2011 (Week 5 Term 3 2011).
The 2011 school term dates have been adjusted to align with the Rugby World Cup Tournament – we have amended our dates to work in with the Rugby World Cup and the Secondary School Winter Tournament Week (which will be held Week 4 Term 3 2011).
